INTOUCH SAFETY
Safety Training for Employers Serving Michigan’s Workers With Barriers to Inclusion
INTOUCH SAFETY specifically addresses outreach to the specialized industry of Community Rehabilitation Organizations and the hard to reach vulnerable populations they serve. The project delivers high quality occupational safety and health trainings designed using subject matter expertise in language and methods appropriate for persons with disabilities and other barriers to community inclusion. Trainings are provided at no cost to participants through multiple delivery options.
Funded by a grant from the MIOSHA –Consultation Education and Training Division, training options are available in person, as live webinars, or via our extensive online training library and our safety training app.
It is our collective responsibility to ensure that safety is an integral part of the employment and training services provided by community based organizations. Take advantage of these valuable training resources!
