Through advocacy, innovation, education and leadership development, Incompass Michigan empowers our members to achieve their mission.
Our innovation focus in 2025 included the successful launch of the Center for Social Enterprise Development, providing eight months of intensive training and technical assistance on financing, marketing, business acumen, and legal strategies specific to social enterprises – ensuring the first cohort has a strong foundation to successfully build upon. Our Association also actively supported Michigan’s Tech First initiative, with the objective of integrating enabling technology into the State’s system of support for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and making these supports more widely available and appropriately funded.
We remain true to our core purpose and values; but looking ahead, our trajectory requires navigating a new pathway to continued sustainability and transformational impact. As the world around us shifts, we must be a part of the changes occurring in our field – embracing a future that will require us to think differently, serve more efficiently and effectively, and demonstrate value clearly; we must also pursue collaboration pathways to leverage collective impact.
The state of the association is strong; working together, we will continue to offer the value proposition for Incompass Michigan membership through connectivity with resources – information, best practices, shared knowledge and problem solving – that promote success for members and persons served. We look forward supporting you in the work ahead, in gratitude for all you do.
