Virtual Job Coach Training Series – On-the-Job Coaching (recorded)-

The Essence of Personal Bias Training
October 10, 2023. This 2-hour virtual training will be facilitated by the National Diversity Council, to fulfill a need for implicit bias training. The Public Health Code – General Rules have been revised by the Bureau of Professional Licensing (BPL) within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). It requires implicit bias training, effective June 1, 2022. Click here to learn more and register.

Beyond Burnout: Reclaiming Our Power, Wellness & Resilience – 1 SW CEU Pain Management
October 16, 2023. In this seminar we will get a clear understanding of what “burnout” is, what it looks like (and what it does not look like), its stages, as well as it’s warning signs & symptoms. From here, we move to “creating an action plan” to overcome present burnout and to avoid future burnout. Topics and tools such as, boosting resiliency, boundaries, self-talk, emotional regulation and pain, and mindfulness will be covered. Click here to learn more and register.

This 1-hour virtual course on the Culture of Gentleness helps creates an environment that is safe, where all individuals begin to feel loved and thereby become loving and that establishes a connection. Helping Families See Possibilities in Competitive Employment – 1 SW CEU
Scheduling for 2023. This training conducted by Menachem Hojda and April Mauro will be held again soon. Attendees will be empowered to work more effectively with families who have a loved one with a significant disability. Using an understanding of how disability can impact someone’s employment outlook, and how families can become ambivalent about their loved one engaging in competitive integrated independent employment, attendees will learn to use listening and empathy to better support the change process.
