DESCRIPTION

Hazard Communication: Your Right to Know

Hazards are everywhere—but do you know how to recognize them before they cause harm? This engaging, neurodiverse-friendly safety training focuses on clear hazard communication and awareness of the Michigan Right-to-Know Law.

The MIOSHA Hazard Communication Standard is designed to ensure that employees understand the chemical hazards they may encounter in the workplace and know how to protect themselves. This training provides an overview of how hazardous chemicals are labeled and communicated through Safety Data Sheets. Participants will learn rights under MIOSHA, employer responsibilities, and the importance of recognizing labels, pictograms, and warnings.

Designed with inclusive learning in mind, this training supports a safer, healthier workplace by promoting awareness, compliance, and informed decision-making when working with or around hazardous substances.
