Learn from the experiences and research by Katie Kinde, Incompass Education Coordinator and autism self-advocate, on the best way to make a workplace accepting of neurodiverse co-workers.

This course is created for those who wish to create a better work environment, and, best support neurodiverse co-workers.

PRESENTER
Facilitated by Katie Kinde
Katie is a 34 year old Autistic woman, who loves learning and helping others learn. Katie graduated with a Masters in Education, focusing on Learning Design and Technology. While at Wayne State, she was the Dean of Social Work secretary, and managed much of the continuing education events and certificate distribution. Since October of 2021, she has worked for Incompass Michigan as the Education Coordinator, creating trainings, coordinating events, and handling certificate distribution. She completed multiple Leadership programs in 2023, and has presented multiple times about Autism in the workplace. She is a Co-Leader of the Michigan Advocates to End Seclusion and Restraint. In her spare time, she makes miniatures, wire wraps stones, and gardens.
TO TAKE THIS TRAINING ATTENDEES NEED
A computer that can use Zoom, a microphone, and a camera. For the On-Demand content, not only will you need a computer, but you will be given an account to access our Learning Management System. Recordings will only be available for 3 months.
Attendees will be provided a digital handout of the PowerPoint and a packet of resource materials for each session.

“No-Shows” will not be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be given after September 15.
Substitutions are accepted. The recording is meant for viewing by the original registrant. If another person attends your live sessions or views your recordings, it will forfeit your access to the LMS recordings.
