Impact Scholarship Gives Frontline Direct Care Professionals the Opportunity to Attend re:con 2026

Five $1,000 scholarships will support direct care professionals attending re:con 2026

Incompass Michigan is proud to announce the Impact Scholarship, an investment in Michigan’s direct care workforce designed to provide frontline professionals with greater access to professional development and continuing education.

Made possible through the generous support of IMPART Alliance, the Impact Scholarship will provide five $1,000 scholarships to frontline direct care professionals who work directly with individuals living with disabilities.

The scholarship provides an opportunity for essential workers to attend re:con – the convention of new beginnings, taking place November 18–20, 2026, at the Grand Traverse Resort.

Investing in the People Behind the Work

Direct care professionals play an essential role in supporting individuals with disabilities every day. Yet opportunities for professional development can sometimes be difficult to access due to cost, time, and other barriers.

The Impact Scholarship helps open that door.

Scholarship funds may be used toward the cost of attending re:con, including conference registration, two nights of hotel accommodations at the Grand Traverse Resort, and meal vouchers, with available funds applied to eligible conference expenses.

By supporting continuing education for frontline professionals, the Impact Scholarship strengthens individual skills while contributing to the quality of services and supports throughout Michigan’s human services provider network.

Experience re:con 2026

Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to participate in three days of learning, connection, and inspiration at re:con 2026.

Through breakout sessions, workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, wellness activities, and opportunities to connect with vendors and suppliers, re provides professionals with practical tools, fresh ideas, and best practices they can bring back to their organizations and communities.

This year’s conference theme, re:unite, re:define, re:inspire, reflects an opportunity for professionals to reconnect with their purpose, discover new possibilities, and be inspired by the people and ideas shaping the future of human services.

Who Can Apply?

Eligibility for the Impact Scholarship is limited to employees who provide direct care and support to individuals living with a disability.

Applications are due September 15, 2026.
