DESCRIPTION:Learn from the experiences and research by Katie Kinde\, Incompass Education Coordinator and autism self-advocate\, on the best way to make a workplace accepting of neurodiverse co-workers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDESCRIPTION \n\n\n\nThis course is created for those who wish to create a better work environment\, and\, best support neurodiverse co-workers.  \n\n\n\nLonger trainings available. Please contact kkinde@incompassmi.org to sign up your organization for a virtual training. \n\n\n\nTrainings will be held via Zoom(Session will be recorded) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPRICE \n\n\n\n$65 non-members | $40 members \n\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration deadline October 8\, 2024. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPRESENTER \n\n\n\nFacilitated by Katie Kinde  \n\n\n\nKatie is a 34 year old Autistic woman\, who loves learning and helping others learn. Katie graduated with a Masters in Education\, focusing on Learning Design and Technology. While at Wayne State\, she was the Dean of Social Work secretary\, and managed much of the continuing education events and certificate distribution. Since October of 2021\, she has worked for Incompass Michigan as the Education Coordinator\, creating trainings\, coordinating events\, and handling certificate distribution. She completed multiple Leadership programs in 2023\, and has presented multiple times about Autism in the workplace. She is a Co-Leader of the Michigan Advocates to End Seclusion and Restraint. In her spare time\, she makes miniatures\, wire wraps stones\, and gardens.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTO TAKE THIS TRAINING ATTENDEES NEED \n\n\n\nA computer that can use Zoom\, a microphone\, and a camera. For the On-Demand content\, not only will you need a computer\, but you will be given an account to access our Learning Management System. Recordings will only be available for 3 months.  \n\n\n\nAttendees will be provided a digital handout of the PowerPoint and a packet of resource materials for each session. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou will be emailed Zoom login information for your registered session 1 week prior to the event.
