SUMMARY:ACRE Certification: In-Person Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This 2-day\, 12-hour workshop will cover all the necessary skills to provide customized employment to the persons served. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDESCRIPTION \n\n\n\nThe ACRE Employment Services certificate helps to build a foundation of knowledge and skills\, including those used in customized employment\, to assist people with disabilities to achieve and maintain competitive employment.  VR is currently developing additional training requirements for providers specializing in customized employment. This curriculum may not align with VR expectations for credentialed staff providing Customized Employment to MRS or BSBP – Incompass Michigan will continue to work with our VR partners to establish a sustainable credentialing process for customized employment practitioners. \n\n\n\nModules include: \n\n\n\n\nApplication of Core Values and Principles of Practice\n\n\n\nIndividualized Assessment and Employment/Career Planning\n\n\n\nCommunity Research and Job Development\n\n\n\nWorkplace and Related Supports\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTUITION \n\n\n\n\nWorkshop Only: $249 non-members | $199 members \n\n\n\nWorkshop and Certificate: $399 non-members | $349 members\n\n\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration deadline July 1\, 2024. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPRESENTER \n\n\n\nFacilitated by Heather Barsy \n\n\n\nNon-profit professional with 10+ years experience managing teams to exceptional outcomes. Specialized skills in program creation\, design\, and management with an emphasis on cultural change. Passionate about improving the social determinants of health for under-resourced populations. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTO TAKE THIS TRAINING ATTENDEES NEED \n\n\n\nAttendees will be provided resources via our Learning Management System.
